Waylon Bacon is a cartoonist and filmmaker initially hailing from the Bay Area. His short film work has screened at film festivals such as Comic Con International Film Fest, San Francisco’s Another Hole in the Head, and the B-Movie, Underground and Trash Film Festival in the Netherlands. His work has also been featured in online publications such as Dread Central, Vice, and Fangoria.com.

As a cartoonist, he has contributed storyboards to the films Excision (2012) and Behaving Badly (2014), as well as illustrating the covers for the annual literary journal Beatdom. He is also the author of the on again, off again webcomic Frownland, which has been featured on Boredpanda.com and spawned a yearly calendar that is sold at Vroman’s Bookstore in Pasadena, CA and Powell’s Books in Portland, OR.

He currently resides in Portland, Oregon.
